Areas of Practice
I can help with any issues you may be having, Come to us as you are, and experience therapy. Below are a few examples of how I have helped other people..
Intimate and interpersonal relationships:
I helped with Physical and emotional intimacy in relationships by navigating issues in communication while navigating through the core concern. I teach them boundaries and importantly encourage intimacy between them.
Stress, anxiety, and anger management:
For anger and anxiety, I teach Breathing exercises, journaling and exposure therapy if needed. I also explore the multiple layers within while calming anger and anxiety and I love using worksheets and games to do this.
Grief and Loss
I use Art as a form to aid in expressing grief. I listen to the loss and the pain and guide them through the stages of grief and help them to healthily accept the loss.
Family and marriage counselling
I make aware of the different family dynamics and attachment styles that play a role in their relationships. I educate them on how the family can work as a single unit, and help children and parents foster a better relationship with each other built on mutual respect and safety.
Child and adolescent counselling:
I Guide and educate about the changes during adolescence. teach healthy behaviours which satisfy the children and the parents. I also conduct screening for learning and autism spectrum disorders.
Academic and work life balance:
