Anxiety

Anxiety is excessive worry, and this can tense the mind and body, leading to panic attacks, breathlessness and palpitations. I can help you ground yourself and train your mind by restructuring negative thought patterns and behaviour.

It's more than just sadness or low mood. It's a feeling of "All is lost, and nothing makes sense." I work with this sense of helplessness by providing a safe space for clients to be themselves. Then, I introduce them to hope and its transformative power, motivating them to make positive lifestyle changes.

Depression

It's all right to chill with a beer, but when you need to drink, smoke or take substances to function or even cope with life, it becomes an addiction. I work by exploring the core reason for your substance use and can guide you through it by helping you resolve any trauma or fear associated with it.

A cycle of worrying thoughts leads to increased anxiety. A sudden surge of anxiety, seemingly from nowhere, is a panic attack. I help individuals understand how the anxiety cycle begins and guide them to explore the concerns that typically trigger these attacks.

Feeling stuck in a loop can be frustrating. I can help you explore your past for coping patterns and identify whether they are healthy or not. Together, we can set meaningful goals and move away from unhealthy patterns, helping you live a script-free life.

I love using metaphors and storytelling to help you better understand your journey. Therapy isn't a one-size-fits-all solution, and I am excited to see what fun games and exploration we can do together.
